MILAN, Italy, 8 May 2018— Wind Tre, the leader in the Italian mobile market and one of the main alternative operators in the fixed-line, and global technology leader Xiaomi announced today an important partnership that will bring Xiaomi’s smartphones and IoT products into Wind and 3 stores.
The agreement comes as part of the recent strategic alliance between CK Hutchison Group, which owns 50% of Wind Tre, and Xiaomi, to sell a range of smartphones and IoT and lifestyle products in telecoms and retail divisions of CK Hutchison across the world.
Thanks to this partnership, the company led by Jeffrey Hedberg has become the first operator in Italy to offer its clients, through the Wind and 3 brands, Xiaomi’s innovative devices.

The two Xiaomi devices can also be bought at Wind and 3 shops for a full retail price of 399.90 euros for the 6GB + 64 GB version of Mi MIX 2, and 239.90 euros for the 4GB + 64 GB version of Redmi 5 Plus.
