Announced via a rather quirky music-video style launch featuring Xiaomi India employees (access here), Mi Beard Trimmer comes with two combs and a total of 40 length settings, making it suitable for any kind of beard style. The blades it features are also heavy-duty stainless steel, with a design that makes them self-sharpening — meaning your trim will always remain sharp.

Designed for use on the go

With support for corded as well as cordless use, Mi Beard Trimmer is a versatile gadget. A 5 minute charge allows for 10 minutes of use, great for a quick trim in the nick of time. What’s more, thanks to the in-box charging cable, Mi Beard Trimmer can be charged using a USB adaptor or  Mi Power Bank — truly on the go!

Xiaomi announces Mi CC, the new smartphone series under its Mi brand

Xiaomi today announced Mi CC, its new smartphone series under its Mi brand. Besides standing for camera+camera, a dual-camera setup on Mi CC, CC also refers to a variety of meanings including chic, cool, colorful and creative, aiming at the global young generation with its trendy design and camera features.

“Here comes the Mi CC, a trendy mobile phone for global young people,” said Lei Jun, Chairman, Founder and CEO of Xiaomi Corporation.

The Mi CC will further consolidate the product line that comes under Xiaomi’s Mi brand, which is dedicated to providing the most innovative and trendy smartphones with the existing numbered Mi and Mi MIX series. Meanwhile, Redmi, which became an independent brand in January, focuses on delivering products with the best cost performance, including Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro launched recently.  

Mi CC is designed to be a flagship for photography and selfies with both front and back cameras, and industry-leading algorithm empowered by the newly founded Xiaomi x Meitu AI Beauty Lab.

Xiaomi, the world’s No 4. smartphone vendor signed a strategic cooperation agreement in November with Meitu, a highly popular brand among female smartphone users. The product partnership, mainly in terms of technology, is expected to further expand and diversify the user base of Xiaomi, which is present in more than 80 markets and ranks top 5 in more than 40 markets.

Mi CC is created by one of the youngest product teams in Xiaomi, among which half are art majors and are dedicated to creating a trendy design for young consumers.

Mi 9T, Xiaomi’s latest flagship, makes its debut in Spain

MADRID, Spain, 12 June 2019– Xiaomi announced the arrival of Mi 9T, the latest smartphone in its highly popular flagship Mi 9 family, in Spain today.

Mi 9T will be available from 17 June and starts at €329. The device sports the latest Qualcomm® SnapdragonTM 730 Mobile Platform, a 6.39-inch Full Screen Display, a 20MP pop-up front camera and a rear 48MP triple camera setup.

Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 730 with an increasing CPU and GPU performance

Mi 9T features the best-in-class Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 730 mobile platform, offering an increase of 35 percent for CPU performance, and of 10 percent for GPU, as well as twice the AI performance, compared to its predecessor Snapdragon™ 710– all enabled an octa-core KryoTM 470 chip processor based on the 8nm process for extreme power efficiency, along with the 4th generation AI smart engine for delivering powerful AI performance.

The smartphone comes with the new Game Turbo 2.0 for an ultimate gaming experience by optimizing touch response, display, sound quality, network and in-game calls. Touch response rate goes up to 180Hz, while click and touch response times are reduced to about 70 milliseconds, the new Mi 9 family member is able to offer an esports-level gaming experience.

AMOLED Full Screen Display and unique curved glass back with flame design

Featuring a 6.39-inch AMOLED screen without a notch, the display of Mi 9T supports Reading and Sunlight mode 2.0, low-brightness color grayscale optimization, and 256-scale eye protection technology, delivering an incredible immersive viewing experience. It has also received low-blue-light eye protection certification by Germany’s VDE Testing and Certification Institute. By adopting an elegant pop-up selfie solution, Mi 9T is able to achieve a true full screen display.

Mi 9T applies a nano-holographic technology to produce a unique flame design on its four-sided curved glass back. The combination of 3D-glass and extremely narrow frame gives the phone an incredibly comfortable hand-feel.

The device is equipped with the 7th-generation in-screen fingerprint technology. The dual optimization of hardware and software significantly improves the fingerprint recognition rate and speed.

48MP triple camera and 20MP pop-up front camera

Offering an AI triple camera setup, Mi 9T features a main 48MP camera with a 1/2″ Sony flagship IMX 582 sensor that can produce ultra-high resolution photos. For night portraits, the camera sensor supports merging four pixels to form large 1.6μm pixels to capture more details in low-light conditions.

In addition to the 48MP main camera, the Mi 9T also features a 13MP ultra wide-angle lens with a 124.8 degree field of view, and an 8MP telephoto lens. The options offered by the combination of these three lenses can cover most settings, delivering an SLR-like photography experience.

Mi 9T sports a 20MP pop-up front-facing camera with a sapphire glass cover. When the front camera is raised, it will display lighting effects and is accompanied by one of six sound effects. The light ring on top acts as a notification light for incoming messages and charging status. Group selfies taken with the panorama feature, which allows panning the 20MP selfie camera, will let you include all your friends in a single shot.

4000mAh large battery, NFC and Hi-Res Audio certification

Featuring a large 4000mAh battery and an AI energy saving mode to automatically adjust screen brightness and for activating sleep mode at night, Mi 9T has power to last through a day of heavy use. Mi 9T supports up to 18W charging.

Mi 9T offers multi-function NFC, with payment transaction speeds increased by up to 30 percent. It also offers superb audio quality, featuring 1217SLS speakers and Smart PA as well as a 0.9cc large sound chamber for powerful playback. The device retains a 3.5mm headphone jack, and has received Hi-Res Audio certification.

Price and availability

Mi 9T will be available in Spain from 17 June with two colors, Carbon Black and Glacier Blue, at a retail price of €329 for 6GB + 64GB. For the first 24 hours, mi.com/es and Amazon will feature a special launch price of €299 for the 6GB + 64GB version. The 6GB + 128GB model, available in Spain in the coming weeks, will be priced at €369. The Flame Red version will come at a later date.

Availability in other markets will be announced closer to local launch dates.

Even with a full-color display, Mi Smart Band 4 is equipped with a 135mAh battery and is able to last up to 20 days on a single charge. In addition to the health and activity tracking features from previous generations, Mi Smart Band 4 now features a swim tracking mode to monitor swim length, time, swim strokes, SWOLF (a measure of swimming efficiency) and more. Mi Smart Band 4 retains a sleek and lightweight design, an all-new intuitive user interface for easy navigation, automatic band lock feature when removed from the user’s wrist, and controls for music playback on smartphones.

Mi Smart Band 4 will be available from in Spain at the end of June, at a price of €34.99, on mi.com, Mi Stores and the other official channels of Xiaomi in Spain.

Mi Electric Scooter Pro features a high-capacity battery that offers up to 45km range on a single charge, a climbing angle of 12°, a top speed of 25km/h and a new built-in LED multi-function display for monitoring your ride. Mi Electric Scooter Pro sports the same award-winning minimalist design as the Mi Electric Scooter. Its portable folding design makes it a perfect last-mile solution and allows for easy storage. It features the same intuitive controls, double-braking system as well as a series of battery safety features.  

Mi Electric Scooter Pro is on sale from tomorrow, 13 June, for €499, in Mi Stores and MediaMarkt. In the month of July, Mi Electric Scooter Pro will be available in the rest of official channels of Xiaomi in Spain.
